In his latest article, Literally Brilliant Managing Director and Principal Consultant, Michael Neale, draws lessons for business leaders from the documentary “Spitfire”. He talks about having passionate customers advocating for your company based on their experience of the brand … just like the Battle of Britain pilots in the film:
“It was this time about a year ago that I watched the excellent documentary Spitfire (2018) directed by David Fairhead and Ant Palmer, narrated by Charles Dance.
“I was travelling on a flight to New Zealand for a family holiday. A daytime flight, and with plenty of time, I was delighted to see that the documentary was available as part of the in-flight entertainment. As I watched the film, I found myself quite inexplicably crying… on four separate occasions. I'm sure I was an embarrassment to my university-aged daughters. I was watching a documentary about a second world war fighter plane. Why was I crying?”
