He talks about having passionate customers advocating for your company based on their experience of the brand … just like the Battle of Britain pilots in the film:
“It was this time about a year ago that I watched the excellent documentary Spitfire (2018) directed by David Fairhead and Ant Palmer, narrated by Charles Dance.
“I was travelling on a flight to New Zealand for a family holiday. A daytime flight, and with plenty of time, I was delighted to see that the documentary was available as part of the in-flight entertainment. As I watched the film, I found myself quite inexplicably crying… on four separate occasions. I'm sure I was an embarrassment to my university-aged daughters. I was watching a documentary about a second world war fighter plane. Why was I crying?”
